YMCA CYQ Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
 
Personal Training is one of the most exciting and rewarding of careers. Here is your opportunity to gain the most widely recognised and respected qualification. As a Hamiltons Training CYQ Personal Trainer you will have the possibility of earning over £30,000 p.a. working in modern fitness centres, your own training studio or travelling the world. Your qualification will be recognised almost anywhere you chose to work.

You can work your way through each of the modules at your own pace, booking each one when you feel ready or have the time; alternatively you can book the whole personal training course as a package and save yourself £300.00.

The course not only gives you all the knowledge you will need to work with your clients at an advanced level, in the gym, in their homes or other environments, but also helps you work your way through the intricacies of running and promoting your own business.

The Central YMCA Qualifications (CYQ) Certificate in Personal Training is the most widely recognised personal trainer's course.

This qualification is particularly relevant for individuals who have an interest in working one to one with healthy adults.

Candidates will learn:

  • Advanced exercise and fitness knowledge covering:
    -bones and joints
    -muscles and muscle actions
    -core stability
    -principles of progressive training and professionalism
  • How to plan a progressive programme which meets the goals and needs of an individual
  • How to perform and analyse fitness related tests
  • How to provide basic and appropriate nutritional advice
  • How to plan and carry out the successful setting up, marketing and running of a fitness related business.
  • How adapt training programmes to cater for a variety of training environments.
